Apple’s wireless AirPods sent the world into a frenzy. At first, the wireless earphones that came after it may have appeared to be a fad with the promise of advancing towards extinction, as is the case with any fad, it looks like it is here to stay. Xiaomi seems to be in the long run when it comes to wireless headphones.

Over the years, the tech giant brought out a wide variety of wireless headphones. Those headphones instantly proved themselves to be a hit with the customers.

Amidst the buzz for wireless headphones, Xiaomi’s latest AirDots Pro 2 surfaced. These new Xiaomi Mi true wireless earphones lite apparently include LHDC support.

It came as a surprise to everyone that the Bluetooth SIG certification unit has listed some mysterious “Mi True Wireless Earphones Lite” on their website. The certification process was done and dusted on January 14th, 2020. The model number that was given to the new earphones is TWSEJ03WM.

The new certification revealed some specifications for the new Xiaomi Mi True Wireless Earphones Lite. According to the data related to the certification, the Lite earphones will come with Bluetooth 5.0 connection and will be based on the latest Xiaomi Mi Air 2 TWS. However, it does not mean that the new earphones will retain all of the features of the Mi Air 2 TWS. As is the case with any Lite version, Xiaomi’s new wireless earphones too will cut out some features.

This is just the initial news available for the earphones. We still have to wait for a certain period of time before we can get any more information regarding the new earphones.

It is still not known if the Xiaomi Mi True Wireless Earphones Lite or Airdots Pro 2 will be available for a specific market or globally, as did other Xiaomi products. Additionally, the My True Wireless 2S was also listed in the same certification unit.
