There is no doubt about the fact that Redmi, the sub-brand of Xiaomi, offers a vast range of gadgets, mainly catering to the low-end devices. The fact that the devices are available at a low price made it’s brand famous in no time. Since its conception, Redmi devices had branched out and released devices that are priced at the higher range also. Today, Xiaomi unveils Redmi 8A Dual and Redmi Power Bank with 2000mAh and 1000mAh in India

Redmi 8A smartphone came out in the market in September 2019. As is the case with any Redmi smartphone made for the budget-conscious consumers, the 8A too was an instant hit. It came packed with some exceptional specifications. It has been only a few months, but Manu Kumar Jain, the Global VP of Xiaomi and the MD of Xiaomi India, tweeted that the Redmi team thought about making the affordable smartphone even better and that they have done so successfully.

In the tweet, Manu Kumar Jain mentioned that the Redmi team has included a dual camera on the back of the smartphone. The Redmi 8A Dual camera setup now will consist of a 13 MP AI Primary camera, and a 2 MP depth sensor. All of that plus an AI Portrait Mode and AI Scene Detection.

Redmi team is taking the Redmi 8A Dual smartphone a bit further with the inclusion of some new features. There are hardly any smartphones available on the market that offers a plethora of some good features under the 10K budget. However, it is not yet known if the pricing for the new Redmi 8A Dual would be the same as the original one.

Apart from bringing out a revamped Redmi 8A, Manu Kumar Jain also tweeted about the all-new Redmi Power Bank. A few days ago, Jain tweeted a mysterious photo about their upcoming device, and the origin and nature of the device were left to the imagination of the users. However, the tweet was indeed pointing towards the launch of a new Redmi Power Bank.

This will be the first power bank launched by Redmi, thereby, expanding its market, from manufacturing only smartphones to now manufacturing power banks. Redmi will offer its power banks in two variants: 10,000mAh and 20,000mAh.
