Vivo iQOO 3 5G to launch on February 25, 2020, in China

Vivo iQOO has announced that its upcoming smartphone iQOO 3 5G which is supposed to be a gaming smartphone will launch on February 25, 2020. The launch date is specific to the Chinese market, but if iQOO’s history is taken into consideration, India would not have to wait for too long to get its hand on the latest iQOO. There is a high possibility that the smartphone, the Vivo iQOO 3 5G will launch in India later this month.

According to a leak that brought the news of the iQoo 3’s launch date, the smartphone will sport a quad-camera set up on its back with a 48 MP main camera, and liquid cooling technology. The other three lenses include a pair of 13 MP sensors and a 2 MP sensor.

The launch date has been confirmed by the official iQOO Weibo handle. The launch event for the smartphone is supposed to start at 2:30 pm CST. The iQOO which is a subsidiary company of Vivo, has one of the largest markets here in India, ranking only second to Xiaomi’s reign.

Apart from announcing the launch date, the Vivo iQOO officials have not released much information regarding the smartphone. However, some of its basic features have become public knowledge.

Geekbench has shared some of the features of the smartphone. According to the report shared by Geekbench, the smartphone is supposed to run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC and will come with 12GB of RAM. The smartphone will feature a 6.44-inch full HD+ with 1080 x 2400 pixels AMOLED display.

Furthermore, the smartphone comes packed with a 4,370mAh battery that supports 55W fast charging. On top of the smartphone, there will be a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Vivo iQOO 3 will also support SA and NSA dual-mode 5G, which is the second 5G mobile phone of iQOO and is the first dual-mode 5G mobile phone of iQOO.

Apart from the iQOO 3, the company might also release an iQOO Pro which is supposed to feature a 64 MP qual camera set up on its back.
