OPPO is not left behind, albeit starting late, in the race for establishing a tech company that caters to almost every need of a gadget enthusiast. Now, almost all of the companies which started off as smartphone manufacturers have enlisted themselves as creating smartwatches, among many other smart products.
A legitimate Twitter account has posted a picture or rather the official render of the first smartwatch from the Chinese company OPPO.
From the perspective of appearance, the smartwatch retains the standard design for smartwatches nowadays, with a rectangular black dial. However, unlike any other smartwatches available in the market, the OPPO smartwatch contains watch hands streaked with a striking color red.
Previously, a piece of news leaked regarding the function of the watch, and the newly released photo confirms that. The smartwatch indeed does not have a wheel, like the one that Apple Watch sports as the Digital Crown. On the right side of the case, there are two buttons stationed there. These buttons are likely to control the clock. Furthermore, in all likelihood, one of the buttons on that side should be equipped with an LED event indicator.
The upcoming smartwatch from the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is supposed to top off its line jampacked with specifications ranging from the usual smartwatch functionalities to having all the functions of a modern fitness tracker. Indeed according to some sources, the OPPO smartwatch will be able to record heart rate, blood pressure and take an ECG. The specifications do not end here. Moreover, the smartwatch will also be able to control sleep quality, show the report on calories burned and much more.
As for its release date, in general consensus, it is believed that we can expect the item in late February. The pricing for such a smartwatch should ideally start at $300.
