A February 21st Mi India Twitter post revealed the launch indicating that the phones will be first showcased at Mi Homes in Embassy Tech Village and Indiranagar, Bangalore. Thereafter, customers can get the Mi 5G smartphones at the other outlets around the country.

About Mi MIX Alpha

Mi MIX Alpha is the very first 5G smartphone to be launched in India. Furthermore, this smartphone has a futuristic design that can be explored in many ways. The body of the smartphone is surrounded by ONE display. A Mi blog post reveals that the display of Mi MIX Alpha extends from front to back.

The display replaces the side frame and you can view the status and information there. In addition to that, the most used applications are there as gadgets on the back display. Interestingly, the smartphone has built-in humidity and air quality sensors that can tell you environmental information accurately.

Mi MIX Alpha has innovative layered lamination technology that gives the phone a surround display. Along with it, the smartphone also has an in-screen fingerprint sensor with display acoustic technology to optimize the sound experience.

Most importantly, the new 5G MIX Alpha comes with a 108 MP ultra-high-resolution camera. The triple primary cameras include a SONY IMX350 20MP wide-angle camera, a Samsung S5K2L7 12MP telephoto camera and a Samsung HMX 12032 x 9024 ultra-high resolution camera. The cameras will let you capture photos with more details and depth.

The body of the MIX Alpha is made of Aerospace-grade Titanium Alloy which is 3 times stronger than the regular stainless steel. Additionally, the precision ceramic and sapphire glass give the smartphone better durability.

Mi MIX Alpha uses a 4050 mAh nano-silicon-based lithium-ion battery and also supports 40W wired fast charging. The smartphone runs on Snapdragon 855, comes with 12 GB of RAM and has ultra-fast UFS3.0 512 GB storage. Lastly, the teaser of the phone is very promising and we can surely say that Mi MIX Alpha is surely going to make a statement among the phones of the future.
