As the 5G days are approaching, companies are also getting into the race to upgrade their devices accordingly. OnePlus has gone ahead organizing a global snow bot fight to showcase the potential power of 5G connectivity. OnePlus announced the battle on March 3rd, 2020 via their blog post and Twitter. The battle will take place worldwide and will be starting from March 9, 2020.

OnePlus prefers to call its battle roots as Snowbots which will be operated by a Finnish operator, Elisa. The community members will have access to this awesome online gaming experience all over the world. The company will reportedly hold the Snowbot battle in the Ruka-Kuusamo area, Lapland, Finland. What is more amazing is that these Snowbots can fire snowballs at 120 miles per hour. That’s quite a bit dangerous, isn’t it?

This will apparently be a battle between the humans and the robots. OnePlus will make a team with selected members to fight against the 5G powered Snowbots which will be controlled from all over the world. As per the reports, the event will go on till 12th March and will run 24X7 allowing everyone to have a chance at the battlefield.

In addition to that, OnePlus will soon come up with a community contest to select lucky winners to build up a team to fight against the advanced OnePlus 5G Snowbots.

Rules and instructions about the game

Players can visit the official OnePlus page using their smartphones and can log in or create a OnePlus account in order to play the game. Most importantly, every player will have only one chance to engage in the battle. Therefore, don’t miss it.

After logging in and joining the queue, the players will receive a browser notification. OnePlus has also notified that the queues will get capped at 2 hours in order to give everybody a chance to participate.

As the reports suggest, there will be two robots each in the two teams. The players have to fire snowballs at their opponents and try to avoid getting hit. It is to specify that, players will have only eight snowballs themselves. So, one should have better aim and tactics to win the challenge.

The game can be played all day long from March 9 to March 12 at midnight. There will be hundreds of battles taking place. However, they will only last a few minutes.

Buckle up for the biggest Snowbot fight ever! Visit the official OnePlus site for more information.
