The Samsung Galaxy A71, 5G phone photos have leaked on TENAA. The smartphone, from its first look, appears to remain unchanged. However, the dimensions and weight are slightly different.

Even though nothing appears to have changed on the outside, certainly, the noticeable or major changes have taken place under the hood.

Samsung Galaxy A71 5G leaked specs

The phone switches to an Exynos 980 chipset with an integrated 5G mode. This new change will give the phone a slight boost in performance as the new chip uses two Cortex-A77 cores instead of A76 line used in the Snapdragon 730G of the 4G version.

The battery appears to have the same capacity. However, since the Galaxy A71 will be a 5G handset, it would be interesting to see the impact of the same battery on a 5G smartphone.

The phone features a glass front with Gorilla Glass 3 and a plastic back with a plastic frame. The phone features a 6.7-inches Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touchscreen with 1080 x 2400 pixels and with a 20:9 ratio. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage with UFS 2.1. The internal storage could be expanded using the microSD card.

The Samsung Galaxy A71 5G phone comes with a quad-camera setup on its back with a 64 MP main shooter, 12 MP primary shooter, and two 5MP sensors. The selfie camera is of 32 MP. Furthermore, the phone features Type-C 1.0 reversible connector and a 2.0 USB. The display screen contains an under-the-display fingerprint scanner.

The phone features a 4370 mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. The phone is expected to be offered in various colors but the specific colors have not been mentioned yet.

Availability

As for the launch date, Samsung has not announced anything officially but it looks like Samsung is waiting for the right time to launch this smartphone keeping in mind the pandemic situation.
