Huawei is gearing up for the launch event of its flagship P40 series smartphones that will first see the light of day in China. Amidst the hustle-bustle of the upcoming launch, CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Yu Chendong announced that something exciting is also coming from the tech giant. He subsequently revealed that the company will debut something big at the same event.
Now, it has been confirmed what this “something big” is. The company will launch the Huawei Vision X65 Smart TV alongside the Huawei P40 series smartphones in China.
A poster for the same smart screen, that is the Huawei Smart Screen X65, also popularly known as the Huawei Vision Smart TV X65 has leaked online, unveiling some of its features.
First off, the major features that this device will showcase is the 24-MP ultra-wide-angle AI Smart Camera, OLED display, and 12 speakers for surround sound field.
The leak informs us that this smart TV will likely possess an OLED display panel that uses advanced multichannel sensors to help adjust the screen’s color and speed. It adjusts the display to become more like the ambient light making whatever is on the screen look more natural.
Moreover, the leak also mentions that the smart TV will come equipped with 14 speakers to offer a surround sound field and an immersive, like never before, sound experience. The TV can identify the spatial structure of the room it is placed in and emits sound waves to detect the room’s structure and receive feedback. The feedback will help the TV establish a virtual and spatial sound field model and create a sound field likewise. Furthermore, the TV will run on the company’s very own HongMeng OS.
The TV will also feature ultra-high contrast, high refresh rate and high color gamut among others. Huawei has adopted an ultra-thin design and an “I” design on its back. The new smart screen product will be Huawei’s most expensive terminal product. The product is all set to launch on April 8.
