Xiaomi launches new FREETIE shoes: A high-tech waterproof footwear

Xiaomi Shoes

Xiaomi is identified as a globally renowned electronics company. But little did we know that they are also active in the fashion sector. Xiaomi has hit the fashion market with its new FREETIE shoes. And their product seems highly recommendable.

The FREETIE brand is popular in China and is known for its combination of high-quality and comfort. Xiaomi's latest Freetie shoe is equipped with interesting features and is very likely to impress customers once again.

Build

The shoe is made of PU polyurethane which makes it incredibly light yet sturdy and resistant to daily wear and tear. This material is also oleophobic and hence oil deposition is unlikely. Xiaomi doesn't go for bulky and the shoe canvas thickness measures a mere 2mm.

Coming to the bottom of the shoe, the sole is made of Injected Phylon. Thus, this gives the shoe its extreme flexibility and protects the feet from ground impacts. The sole design reduces the risk of accidental falling apart and increases durability.

Ant-bacterial, anti-odor and waterproof

Xiaomi also uses an impressive Microban system to make the shoe antibacterial. The system injects zinc ions into the insole fabric which keeps the shoe bacteria and odor-free. Also, Xiaomi incorporates ZPTech technology which keeps the shoe waterproof. As a result, it works for a rainy day or any accidental liquid spill on your shoes.

Style and availability

In terms of style, the new Xiaomi Freetie shoes are great leisurewear. They don't come with laces and are easy to put on. There is an internal and a rear band that tightens the shoe on the instep for comfortable wear. The shoes are available for both sexes in the 35-46 size range. They are available in the following colors: blue, black, dark gray, light gray and pink.

Xiaomi has announced that its new Freetie shoes will be in the stores only after April 29. The Xiaomi Freetie has priced the shoe at an affordable price of 49 yuan which converts to 6.40 euros.
