Razer announced on its official Weibo page that the company is bringing out next Pokemon-themed Pikachu true wireless earbuds. This would not be the first time that Razer had done something Pokemon themed. Previously, the gaming-computer manufacturing company had made Pikachu themed peripherals. And the great response for that peripherals encouraged the developers to make something of a similar theme.
The Pokemon franchise is loved almost by all worldwide, and even though the children who loved Pokemon as they grew up cannot outgrow the anime, such is its appeal. Previously launched, the Pikachu live-action movie is an indication of that. Even though Razer did not mention explicitly that the true wireless earbuds in question are from the Hammerhead range of the Razer earphones. The photos certainly indicate that they belong to the same family.
Razer Pokemon-themed Pikachu wireless earbuds features
The details of the specs mentioned in the sheet seem to match, ranging from the 13mm drivers to its Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. Even the battery life is not the same as in the Hammerhead earphones. The Razer Pikachu-themed earphones will offer three hours of battery life, instead of 4 which is the standard Hammerhead battery life. The carrying case gives the earbuds an additional 12 hours of performance.
Now about the carrying case, it is the single most item that is bound to make people notice it. The Razer pokemon-themed earbuds have Pikachu printed on them, but it comes in a Poke Ball like carrying case. This seems like the dream come true of every Pokemon to own a Poke Ball. It goes without saying that the Poke Ball carrying case functions as a charging case.
The Pokemon-themed Razer Hammerhead true wireless earbuds priced at RMB999 (~RM613). As of now, the earbuds will only launch in China. As for the case with the last Pokemon-themed peripherals, this one will also be exclusive to the country.
