How about both of them collaborating to provide a better shopping world? Yes, this dreamlike idea has come true as both of these famous brands have come together to provide a seamless experience for the customers. Today a Pinterest app has been launched on Shopify with an option that allows the customer to directly buy from the app.
This helps the business persons more for showcasing their products at a place and getting them sold from the same platform.
Well now let’s see how that works. Be it a small business or a large one, with this app it is good to go. The merchant uploads catalogues in the app for the people to turn to Pinterest to find them. The buyers find a ‘shop’ tab and they can buy the products they have pinned directly from the app itself.
There are various interesting features of this app. One can tag installation, and then ingest catalog, keep updating the products automatically. The merchants won’t need any ads for their products to be distributed. After this, the individual store and Pinterest are connected.
It is interesting to note that year-over-year there has been a massive increase in the number of pinners due to the availability of Shoppable product pins. It is 44% to be precise and the traffic to the retailers has also risen up to 2.3 times the former one. The first quarter of the year has seen a humongous increase of 144% increase in the number of catalogue uploads, as found by the beta testing with Shopify.
This tag option by which the collaboration occurs will be available from today to the Shopify merchants in the US and Canada. But other countries like Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the UK, that observe the Pinterest ads will be able to avail the live version of the integration.
