Realme is going to host an event on May 25 which will introduce a series of gadgets and smartphones. Among them, the most notable smartphone, one that is being hyped up by both Realme and its fans is a gaming phone. Apparently, Realme will introduce eight new products in the upcoming event, and Realme’s Chief Marketing Officer shared an image of the smartphone that the Chinese company will introduce.

It is being speculated that at least one item among the eight new products will be a smartphone, and the fact that a Realme official has also shared the picture of a smartphone contends that it will even try to focus on this particular smartphone. The Chief Marketing Officer also announced that the codename of the smartphone is “Blade Runner” while concealing the real name of the smartphone.

From the published photo we can infer that the smartphone sports a similar design to the previous Realme phones; however, this does not discredit the fact that a new smartphone will also be sporting at least a single new design. Similarly, the quad-camera setup on the rear end of the smartphone now features a different pattern around it, and the design of the back panel seems different.

The image concealed the front design of the upcoming “Blade Runner” but it is highly likely that the smartphone will feature an AMOLED display since there is no side-facing fingerprint scanner. The image reveals that this phone does not come with a periscope camera, so this smartphone is not the Realme X3 SuperZoom.

So, what we are left with is the regular Realme X3 that will come after the Realme X2 that was released last year. There is still a week to go to the conference, so it is possible that Realme will release more information in the upcoming few days.
