It has been some time since the chip-making company MediaTek had announced that the iQOO will launch the first device that will feature the Dimesity 1000+ chipset. The news was big since it will be the first of its kind, and the netizens thought the wait would be long before a device featuring the chipset actually makes its entrance into the market. The wait proved to be a little less than what was anticipated. The Vivo iQOO Z1 will be launched on May 19, 2020, and the company is claiming that it will come with a refresh rate of 144Hz, and the most powerful chipset from MediaTek.

However, the upcoming smartphone would not be the first device to feature the 144Hz refresh rate. The brand had also released the Vivo iQOO Neo 3 handset that also comes with the same refresh rate. The highlight of the smartphone still remains the superfast Dimensity 1000+ chipset, and of course the affordable pricing that the smartphone will be offered in.

Even though Vivo offers a view of high-end smartphones, the company is also known for manufacturing smartphones that are pocket friendly. The sub-brand of Vivo, the iQOO makes use of Vivo’s software. Subsequently, it is thought that the price of the upcoming iQOO device will also be pocket-friendly.

Other than the highly-expected and the highlight of the smartphone, the chipset, the smartphone will also sport other features such as HyperEngine 2.0 which will give its users unique and better gaming experience, and the MiraVision technology for better picture quality. The inclusion of HyperEngine 2.0 does not automatically guarantee that the smartphone will be a gaming smartphone. The smartphone remains a decent phone for gaming. It packs a 4500mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging.

As mentioned above, the Vivo iQOO Z1 smartphone will launch on May 19; however, the company is yet to announce the price and the availability of the smartphone.
