Sony will launch its ZH8 8K HDR Full-Array LED TV in two variants, 75 and 85-inches, which will go on sale in Europe in early June.

The new 8K HDR TV incorporates the Picture Processor X1 Ultimate that gives clear and precise picture quality. The Object-based Super Resolution is what enables the TV to reproduce real-world textures.

The Full-Array technology mentioned above has the sole power of balancing light output which in turn results in some beautiful contrast, making the overall picture appear more inviting. The contrast is further played on by the 8K X-tended Dynamic Range PRO that also works magic on controlling the brightness.

The TV comes within a vibrating frame that is equipped with Sony’s signature Acoustic Multi-Audio. The independent amplifiers are adding more to the sound feature of the ZH8 8K TV.

Sony’s next TV will not only give its customers an immersive viewing experience but it would also prove itself to be worthy for the gamers as the ZH8 series of TVs are likely to support 8K at 60fps and 4K at 120fps. The HDMI inputs will be responsible for delivering the high frame rates.

The ZH8 TVs will be able to incorporate not only Netflix Calibrated Mode but also an IMAX Enhanced product.

Aside from all of the features mentioned above, what really makes the series of TVs stand out is the inclusion of Ambient Optimization which optimizes picture and sound quality according to the viewer’s environment. As for the sound of the viewer’s surroundings, the system takes it upon itself to fine-tune the acoustics.

The TV comes loaded with Android TV and supports Google Assistant, Google Play Store, and Chromecast which gives the TV access to online content, services, and devices. Sony has also taken into consideration iOS users, and thus has incorporated Apple AirPlay 2 making it easier for people to stream content directly from an Apple device.

The ZH8 8K HDR Full-Array LED TV 75-inch is priced at £5,999 / €7,199, and the 85-inch variant is priced at £8,999 / €10,799.
