Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is continuing with pushing new products for the market. Its products are well received and have lasted in the market because of the quality of the products that come at affordable prices. Xiaomi has launched its next device.

For its next launch, Xiaomi has renewed its Xiaomi Driving Recorder 2 road surveillance and recording camera. Both products come under the Mijia brand.

The next version of the driving recorder is supposed to be better. The camera can record anything and everything while the user is driving, and the recorded video will come with a greater definition than its previous version.

The Driving Recorder surfaced on a Chinese online store, and the website also released a few of the information regarding the recorder.

This Xiaomi Driving Recorder 2 will come with a lens capable of recording in 2K quality. It is certainly better than its previous recorder which was capable of recording only in 1080 Full HD. Furthermore, the new camera will also be able to record with up to 140 degrees of vision covering a flat surface.

The new camera can record videos up to 1600p. The camera makes use of the OC image sensor OS05A10 which comes with an F1.8 aperture and a 140-degree ultra-wide-angle lens. It takes up less storage space due to the H.265 encoding. It uses Xiaomi’s Mijia app for connection and using this app the user can view the images taken through the camera in real-time.

The improvements occurred not only in the resolution arena; the camera can record audio files by voice access in Chinese. Additionally, it also comes with night vision with 3D noise reduction. This new version will be priced at 399 yuan. As of now, it will go on sale on June 1 in China.
