Zynn, a new Chinese app, has taken the US App Store charts by storm. According to Mashable, the app has risen rapidly to become the number one free app in Apple App Store. It is also currently placed in the top 10 on Google's Play Store.
Experts and users have observed its striking similarity with TikTok. Zinn app in short is a like-to-like copy of a more famous short-form video app TikTok. The video effects and editing features are the same as those of TikTok.
There is one single differentiator, albeit a very significant one. Zynn pays you for viewing its content. Whenever you view a video on the app, a countdown timer starts on the screen and rewards you with points. These points can either be redeemed as cash or gift cards. The gift cards can be used for Walmart, Amazon, and the Apple App Store.
Many users on YouTube have reported of having earned money by using the app. Zynn is created by Kuaishou who are a major app creator in China. Kuaishou's own app titled Kuaishou uses the same format of paying its users and has gained immense popularity in China.
The company is also a major competitor of ByteDance, the owner of TikTok service. Zynn comes with a catalog of videos pulled for the Kuaishou app. You will not get paid if you don't sign up. To sign-up to the app, you require a Google account or Facebook. Once signed up you become eligible to receive payment.
Zynn has also introduced a referral scheme wherein a user who can get five people to sing up will receive $110. A very visible banner on the app announces this offer. The caveat is also printed, stating that the new users need to be regular, only then will you receive the payment.
In order to cash the rewards you will require to link your PayPal account.
