Yet another Samsung device is dysfunctional. A user has complained in the Samsung Newsroom forum about the issue that he is facing. The user is mainly facing problems in connection with his Airpods and his Samsung device, Galaxy A50.
The Airpods are in perfect working condition as he had tested them out with another smartphone Moto G5, and it had worked just fine. It appears that the Airpods are having trouble connecting to the Galaxy A50 only.
His list of complaints include, “1) Whenever I turn on sound or pause sound and then click play, the volume goes so loud, it makes my ears hurt. I then have to adjust the volume settings for it to go back to normal.
2) The sound keeps pausing then carrying on by itself, and whenever it pauses, I have to get ready to adjust the volume so that I don’t break my ear drums.”
The main problem lies with the volume. The volume goes up towards being unbearably loud on its own without the user having to touch the volume button. However, this is not the same when the users switch from AirPods to old-fashioned wired headphones. The wired headphones work fine too. The problem must have something to do with the compatibility issue with Apple’s AirPods.
A Samsung moderator was quick to notice this complaint and has offered several solutions to the problem.
The solution offered by the moderator reads, “First, try going to battery optimization and set the Bluetooth applications not to be optimized. Then, enable developer settings (tap 7 times on the firmware version) (this may be different on your phone) go into developer settings and disabled absolute Bluetooth volume.
Remove the airpods from the phone and then add them back. Let me know if this helps.”
