Samsung India launched the aluminium edition of one of its most affordable 4G watch, Galaxy Active2 4G on July 9, 2020. The Active2 4G series is already a diverse one and the new aluminium edition opens up another option for the customers. The latest version of the smartwatch will be available in three color variants-Cloud Silver, Aqua Black, and Pink Gold.

Specifications

Galaxy Watch Active2 4G aluminium edition has the same specifics as its predecessors. It comes with a round display along with34.5mmsuper AMOLED display and is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass. Besides these, the watch also has a340mAh battery for longer performance.

The Active2 4G smartwatch runs on Tizen OS and is compatible with devices running on Android 5.0 or above with more than 1.5GB RAM. The smartwatch itself has1.5GB RAM and 4GB internal memory which is quite satisfactory.

Moreover, the Samsung technology lets the display cover the screen edge to edge along with a touch bezel. This enablesSamsung’s signature rotating UI experience for the customers.

Galaxy Watch Active2 also comes with a number of sensors including Accelerometer, Barometer, Gyro Sensor, HR Sensor, Light Sensor to maximize your smartwatch experience. As for connectivity, it supports embedded SIM with 4G LTE along with WiFi and bluetooth.

Galaxy Watch Active2 4G comes with 39 workout trackers built-in which focus on theindoor workouts. Customers have access to thelibrary of indoor goal-based, video-guided programmes available on the Samsung Health platform. This platform syncs and records stats from the Watch for each workout on the calendar.

The improved sleep analysis and stress algorithms tracks your stress levels for long-term health check ups. Samsung has also given the customers the access to ‘Calm’ app to discovermeditation programmes for sleep, relaxation or focus to lead a healthy life.

In addition to these, thee-SIM connectivity helps the customers to make calls, message and access the notification from theirGalaxy Watch Active2 4G smartwatch. Users can also use the social media apps on the watch or even replenish their souls with some music on Spotify.

Price and availability

As mentioned before, Galaxy Watch Active2 4G Aluminium edition is available in three colors-Cloud Silver, Aqua Black, and Pink Gold. It will retail at INR 28,490 starting July 11, 2020. The smartwatch will be available across retail stores, Samsung Opera House, Samsung.com, and leading online portals. Consumers can also avail 10% cashback and 6 months no-cost EMI offers till July 31, 2020.
