Huawei launched Honor MagicBook Pro Ryzen Edition back in 2019 in China. Now, the company is back with its Honor MagicBook Pro 2020 Ryzen Edition in China as a successor to its former model.
The MagicBook Pro 2020 comes in two different variants – Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 7. Ryzen 5 will retail at 4,699 yuan (INR 50,513) whereas the Ryzen 7 will cost 5,199 yuan (INR 55,888).
Features and specifications
Honor MagicBook Pro 2020 Ryzen Edition features the new AMD Ryzen 4000H series standard-pressure processor. The Ryzen 5 variant has 4600H processor and Ryzen 7 comes with a 4800H processor. However, as per the reports, they do not feature any dedicated GPU.
MagicBook Pro 2020 Ryzen comes with a 16.1-inch display with a 1080P resolution. It also has a 90% screen-to-body ratio, a 100% sRGB high color gamut, a dual eye protection certification mode.
The 2020 Ryzen edition MagicBook is equipped with a power button integrating the fingerprint scanner. It also has SharkFin Dual Fan 2.0, which spins at a rate of 5,800 rpm. The device also comes with a dual heat tube to avoid much heat.
As for storage capacity, Honor MagicBook Pro 2020 Ryzen has 16GB dual-channel DDR4 RAM and 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD. The device comes with a type-C 65W super-fast charging adapter and can charge about 50% in just 30 minutes.
Price and availability
The Honor MagicBook Pro 2020 Ryzen Edition is currently available in China in two variants. Both of them are available online for pre-booking and will go on sale from July 30, 2020. MagicBook Pro Ryzen Edition R5 4600H/16GB/512GB costs 4699 yuan (INR 50,513) and the R7 4800H/16GB/512GB will retail at 5199 yuan (INR 55,888).
However, Honor MagicBook Pro 2020 Ryzen Edition will only be available in China for now. Huawei has not yet announced the release date of the device in India. We will let you know once it officially gets to India.
