Sony launches the first 48-inch OLED TV, the new Sony BRAVIA OLED 48A9 to be available from the end of August 2020. This 48-inch sized model comes with a price of £1,799.001, which is a significant drop from the previously smallest available size – the 55-inch model’s $2,299 / £2,299 / AU$5,199.

With advanced picture and audio technologies, Sony BRAVIA brings beautiful OLED in a compact size, thin form, and simple one slate design. It is powered by the same powerful processor used to drive Sony’s 8K2 TVs.

Sony Tv Sound

The model is equipped with Acoustic Surface Audio, and with the screen working as the speaker, sound and picture work perfectly in harmony. Also, it has the Dolby Atmos sound. Along with this, S-Force Front Surround produces a multi surround speaker system within the TV.

There is Voice Zoom as well, which enables one to hear human speech clearly without turning up the volume, which is ideal for news bulletins and documentaries.

OLED Pixel Contrast

Sony’s ambient optimization technology adjusts picture and sound automatically to the environment. This 4K OLED TV also includes an embedded light sensor to optimize picture brightness according to room conditions.

This new 48-inch OLED presents a wider range of colors by widening the color spectrum and enable the viewer to enjoy beautiful colors from any angle. TRILUMINOS powered by Sony’s X1 processors produces more colors than conventional television.

The model offers a supreme 4K resolution. The resolution of each subject is optimized with the help of Object-based Super Resolution to produce real-world texture. With Pixel Contrast Booster, color and contrast are enhanced in bright areas to view scenes full of realistic shades and hues.

This TV brings object-based HDR to remaster so that the color in individual objects on screen is analyzed and the contrast adjusted and thus the TV presents greater depth, textures, and more realistic pictures. With Sony’s X-Motion Clarity™ technology, even fast-action remains smooth and clear. Moving images are precisely controlled to minimize blur to keep pictures true with little loss in brightness during high-speed scenes.

With advanced picture and audio technologies to present three-dimensional and atmospheric sound, super-thin bezel, beautifully designed aluminum central stand, and an affordable price, the new Sony BRAVIA OLED 48A9 is all set to conquer the market.
