Samsung started to roll out its August security patch for Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ starting from August 1, 2020. The update is already available for users in multiple countries.

However, Samsung has started getting complaints regarding the security patch already. Several Reddit users have been complaining that they are not able to update their phones. A pop-up window shows up with the notification of “Failed to update software” every time they try to update it.

As we all know, Samsung is one of those smartphone brads that try to improve their services by providing constant updates to its users. After the last July security patch update, Samsung has been delivering its new August security update to its Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ smartphones.

The August 2020 security patch update comes with the build number N97xFXXS6CTGA and has a size of 168.86 MB. The security patch offers some of the device stability improvements and bug file fixes. The company also claims of the update having some new and/or enhanced features along with better performance capabilities.

However, a number of UK based users are having issues while updating the August security patch on their smartphones. This particular problem seems to be happening on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5G unlocked. Some users tried to update after clearing the caches and formatting the devices, but nothing worked out.

A Twitter user also revealed that after downloading the security update, he tried to install it. But the update was never complete because it got stuck at 26% while installing.

This is nothing new to Samsung. The tech giant has faced many issues regarding the updates several times before too. With this August security patch update there seems to be some issues too. Hope Samsung will find out the problem and will come with a solution soon.
