State Bank of India or SBI is one of the most trusted banks in India and has branches all over the country. But, for the last 3 days, SBI seems to have some kind of technical issue with its UPI app. SBI is getting a lot of complaints from its customers regarding their app and network both on the website and Twitter.
BHIM SBI Pay is a UPI app from SBI that lets the users power to control multiple bank accounts from a single mobile app. Additionally, it also allows them to use several banking features, seamless fund routing, and make merchant payments through it.
However, SBI UPI app is currently facing issues as the servers are out of reach and any kind of payment cannot be made using the app. Twitter is even full of complaints and it seems like SBI does not have any proper solution right now.
This is not the first time SBI is having some technical issues with their UPI app. Previously, their YONO SBI app also had some problems with its connectivity.
Recently for 3-4 days, the UPI app has stopped working and transactions cannot be made like before using the app. The customers also cannot connect to the bank servers using the UPI app. Even the server of this national bank stayed down most of the time.
The customers are complaining that they aren’t even able to compliant about fraudulent activity on their complaint portal as the technical issues don’t seem to resolve. There are even complaints about their service.
It is needless to say that the technical issue is an unavoidable situation for any kind of app. But, as a national bank, SBI really needs to pull up its game and resolve the issues as soon as possible.
