After introducing the affordable Nord from the OnePlus smartphone franchise, the smartphone manufacturer had introduced a new series of smart TVs. The latest TV from that series is the OnePlus TV Y series. It has only been a month since that OnePlus smart TV was launched, and already the developers are rolling out updates to make the user experience even more immersive, and better.

The company has worked tirelessly to make the features better than before. Although the products that do get launched aim at being nearly perfect, the questions and issues raised after its release got a hold of the developers at OnePlus And as such to address all the queries and to resolve the key points raised by the community, the company has released a new update for the OnePlus TV Y series.

Some of the key features of the upcoming update include- more skills integrated to work flawlessly with Alexa, optimized OnePlus connect experience by offering a better connection between Mobile and TV, optimized audio quality in default settings, and optimized the system and memory usage for a smoother experience.

As is the case with any updates, the OTA for OnePlus will be incremental, that is the update will first reach a small percentage of users first. The update will be rolled out gradually and will reach every user later in a few days.

The Oneplus TV Y series is available in two variants- 43-inch and 32-inch. The TVs come with stunning picture quality, dynamic colors, and crisp clarity. The 43-inch variant comes with an FHD viewing, and the 32-inch variant comes with HD viewing.

Moreover, the TV allows its users access to various OTTS, including Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. A separate Prime Video section has been enabled for users to have one-touch access to Prime Video. The pricing for the OnePlus Y series starts at INR. 12999.
