Oppo has officially announced that its next smartphone from the F-series, the Oppo F17 Pro will soon launch here in India. The Chinese tech giant took to Twitter to announce the arrival of the smartphone.

The tweet by the company claims that the upcoming smartphone from the F-series will be the sleekest phone of this year from Oppo, to come under Rs. 25,000. The OPPO F17 Pro will be just 7.8 mm thin and weigh 164 grams.

The teaser that accompanied the tweet makes it difficult to discern its exact specs, and since this would be the first time that the Oppo F17 Pro is making a public appearance, there is a lot that is not public knowledge about the smartphone at this moment.

However, the OPPO F17 Pro is expected to be a mid-range offering, succeeding in the OPPO F15 smartphone from earlier this year. It is expected that the new smartphone from the Oppo F-series will be better than its predecessor, the Oppo F15 that came with a 6.3-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, runs on MediaTek Helio P70 chipset, and features a quad-camera set up on its back with a 16MP selfie camera. Meanwhile, the launch of the Oppo F17 Pro could also be followed by the launch of the Vanilla Oppo F17 smartphone in September.

The F17 too is expected to be sleek, and it will most likely run on an Android 10-based ColorOS 7. That is all the information available on Oppo’s upcoming F-series smartphone. Meanwhile, the company has come up with a new power bank that is priced at Rs. 1299.

The new power bank comes in two colors – black and white. As for its specs, the power bank houses a 10000mAh lithium-ion polymer cell and offers 18 W fast charging support. It has the ability to charge a 4200mAh battery 16% faster than a regular power bank.
