Xiaomi is soon to introduce a new member to the Mi 10 series. Just recently, this tech giant has announced that it is going to launch an all-new affordable Mi 10 smartphone in September 2020. According to the reports, this upcoming smartphone will be the first of its series to have the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 7-series 5G chipset.
The recent posts on Weibo revealed that the upcoming smartphone will be a part of the Mi 10T series. The post also mentions that the device will be ‘amazing value for money’. This particular smartphone is listed to cost under €300.
Therefore, we cannot help but wonder if this device could be the Mi 10T Lite. There have been many speculations regarding this lite version of Mi 10T series since the revelation of Geekbench report.
Xiaomi already revealed that its Mi 10T series will be including Mi 10T, Mi 10T Pro, and Mi 10T Lite. The upcoming device will be carrying Snapdragon 700-series 5G chipset and will also have a lower price than the Mi 10 Lite 5G.
Furthermore, the Mi 10T Pro will be a true flagship device with itsSnapdragon 865+ chipset and144Hz display. where as, Mi 10T will be a mid- ranger smartphone. Unfortunately, Xiaomi still hasn’t talked about the specifications of the upcoming affordable smartphone.
The only thing they announced is that the device will be sporting the Snapdragon 700-series 5G chipset and will come with a price tag under €300. But the question is, just like the Mi 10T Pro, will Xiaomi include the triple camera and the 5000 mAh battery in the upcoming device? Well, looking at the price, it will likely not happen. We hope the company will soon update us with more information.
