Turning celebrities and fictional characters into playable in-game characters has become a trend that the gaming industry has been following for quite some time now. Going with the flow, the popular online game, Garena Free Fire tends to introduce popular public figures as their playable characters. This time, the Indian superstar Hrithik Roshan has been chosen to be the first Indian in-game for Free Fire.

Previously, celebs like Marshmello, Freddie Mercury, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, etc. have appeared in many popular games from time to time. Speaking of Free Fire, this is not the first time that it has introduced famous people as its game characters.

The famous Brazilian DJ Alok appeared in Free Fire as the first real-life-based character. Thereafter, Captain Nascimento from the Brazilian ‘Elite Squad’ movies inspired the character of Miguel and Indonesian actor Joe Taslim appeared as the parkour expert. Even, Quicksilver from Marvel X- Men starred as Maxim. The list of inspired characters is too long and we can find more resemblances as we analyze the characters carefully.

Hrithik Roshan’s character will add another feather to the character list for Free Fire. His character will be called Jai. The character is a SWAT agent trained to operate in the high-risk situations and belongs to New Delhi, India. No further details have been given about the character.

The leaks of the upcoming Free Fire character were hanging around for a while and finally, the company has confirmed the news via their official page. With this, Free Fire intends to target the Indian players to indulge in the game. Now, with the ban of PUBG in India, Free Fire could hike up the number of players from India in the near future.
