PlayStation 4 has launched the latest game NBA 2K21 from its best selling NBA 2K series on September 4. The new game from the NBA 2K series comes with improved graphics and gameplay and offers a one-of-a-kind gaming immersion to all its players.

In addition to that, the NBA 2K21 also offers competitive and community online features along with deep, varied game modes. The new game, according to the developers, tries to provide its players with an authentic feel of everything that the NBA basketball and culture has to offer through its gameplay.

The game is essentially an online multiplayer game that could accommodate a maximum of 10 players and a minimum of 2 players. The new game is not open for all to play and as such a paid-for PlayStation Plus membership is required. To access the online features of the game, it requires an account and the players are subject to PlayStation’s terms of service, privacy policy and the game publisher’s privacy policy.

The game features almost every basketball team available in real-time, starting from current teams, free agents, classic teams and the WNBA squads. PlayStation’s game has two new classic teams: 16-17 Golden State Warriors and the 18-19 Toronto Raptorsand the 2012 and 2016 Team USA Olympic squads.

Some of the NBA stars have been omitted in the latest game, but that happens only for legal reasons. In the latest game, the team is missing Luol Deng, Andrew Bynum, Joe Johnson, Mike Miller, Juwan Howard, Tayshaun Prince, and Deron Williams, in addition to the usual absentees – Charles Barkley, Reggie Miller, and Rasheed Wallace.

The profile images of several players have been altered, but that is not at all an issue. The NBA 2K21 also adds some new profile images for several players. Although the new game has come up with additions and better graphics, most of the netizens feel that the new game is too reminiscent of the NBA 2K20.
