Cyberpunk 2077 developer, CD Projekt RED, is apparently spending a huge amount of money on an upcoming game. The amount stated by the company totals over $120 million, and this extraordinary sum has been put in developing an epic sci-fi game.

A number of unannounced projects will also be developed side by side. In a new corporate report, CDPR said it had invested a whopping $ 121.09 million in projects under development as of June 30, 2020. Part of the money has been spent on developing the Cyberpunk 2077 and its multiplayer mode.

The gem of the project, Cyberpunk 2077 has been under development for many years, and it was first announced in 2012. CD Projekt RED delayed the release twice stating various reasons. Cyberpunk 2077 was supposed to release originally on April 12, 2020. But the date of release changed to September 17 which, in turn, got pushed back to November 19.

Cyberpunk is supposed to release on PS4, PC and Xbox One, and next year it will launch a compatible version for PS5 and Xbox Series X. While answering questions about following the recent trends of increasing next-gen game pricing, the company mentioned that it would not do so at the last moment.

“It’s been out in the market and known to consumers for some time. In Europe, the game has been marketed by quite a few retailers for quite a while as well, so, in other words, we’re not planning to change where we are at the last minute for the consumers.”

CD Projekt Red revealed new Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay during its second Night City Wire live stream last month. The presentation pointed out various details about the game including what kind of gameplay to expect and what weapons the players could have access to. Additionally, CP Projekt RED has mentioned that the fans of Witcher will have a free Witcher 3 upgrade to PS5 and Xbox series X version.
