HONOR has announced the launch of Pad 6 and Pad X6 tablets at IFA 2020. The other devices that will be launched in the event are HONOR Watch GS Pro, HONOR MagicBook Pro 2020 Ryzen Edition, HONOR MagicBook 14/15 2020 Ryzen Edition, and HONOR Watch ES. All these are targetted for the European market.
HONOR did not reveal the pricing and availability of its new tablets. Though it had declared the prices of the other devices that it will launch. The two devices are very similar to one another. In July, these devices were launched in China and the AMD Ryzen-powered laptops were also launched alongside.
Honor Pad 6 and X6 tablets specifications:
The differences between Pad 6 and Pad X6 lies in their screen size, memory configuration, LTE support, and color. HONOR Pad 6 has a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, 224ppi, 70% NTSC color gamut, and 80.6% screen-to-body ratio. Also, the panel is certified by TÜV Rheinland for low blue light emission which will be beneficial for long hours of viewing for the eyes.
The Pad 6 will be available in 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB variants. It will only be available in Space Gray color, and one can choose between either WiFi-only or WiFi + LTE editions.
The HONOR Pad X6 comes with a 9.7-inch display having a 1280 x 800 pixels, 156ppi, 60% color gamut, and 75% screen-to-body ratio. It will only be available in one model- a WiFi-only 3GB + 32GB variant in Neo Mint color.
The Pad 6 and the Pad X6 is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 710A SoC manufactured by SMIC (Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation). Coming to the camera, they will have a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front-facing camera.
The IPS LCD panel comes with 16.7 million colors and 10-point multi-touch. They will have a USB Type-C to 3.5mm adaptor in the box, hit no 3.5 mm audio jack. However, the dual-band WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, dual-speaker with HUAWEI Histen 6.1 surround sound technology, and microSD card slot (up to 512GB) will be present in both the devices and they will run Magic UI 3.1 which is based on Android 10 with HMS (Huawei Mobile Services)
The monster devices shall be powered by a massive 5000mAH battery that has support for 10W charging. So the power back up will never be an issue for both the devices.
