At a time when most companies have shelved their conceptions and ideas around Android Tablets, Huawei has launched its big-screened tablets. The Huawei MediaPad T8 was previously launched in Europe in May 2020 and had come in a metal body.
Huawei MediaPad T8 is launched in India. Although available in INR 10,999 and the LTE variant will be available for a discounted price of INR 9,999 during the September 8 to September 14, when the consumers can pre-order.
It is an 8-inch tablet with an HD+ LCD resolution of 1280 X 800 and 189 ppi density. The MediaPad T8 will be having a MediaTek processor which is octa-core and it will be coupled with an IMG GE8320 650 GPU. The tab will also come with 2GB of RAM coupled with 16 or 32 GB of storage.
The memory can be expanded up to 512 GB of storage via a microSD card. Coming to the camera, it comes with a 5 MP rear-mounted camera with an autofocus sensor and an f/2.2 aperture. The selfie camera is of 2 MP with f/2.4 aperture.
The Huawei MediaPad T8 is powered by a 5100 mAh battery that supports 5W fast charging and runs on EMUI 10.1 on top of Android 10 OS. It weighs approximately 310 grams and has dimensions of 199.7 x 121.1 x 8.55 mm. For connectivity, it comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, MicroUSB 2.0, USB OTG, and 3.5 mm audio jack. The tablet will be available in deep Sea Blue color as speculated from the European launch.
