South-Korean tech giants Samsung made an important announcement in a press conference held today. Its new generation foldable mobile device Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G National Bank edition will be priced at 16,999 Yuan.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G phone-tablet hybrid packs some interesting features. The device sports a 6.2-inch cover screen with a full-view aperture screen design and OLED display. In its folded state you can view your emails watch videos, and work the maps. The internal main screen measures 7.6 inches. The screen has a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The model, as the name suggests, has the compatibility to work on 5G frequency bands ensuring faster network speed. It is powered by a 4500 mAh battery which is provided with an ultra-fast charging support. Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G also has the Samsung DeX feature and can be set up into a powerful workstation wirelessly.
To utilize the foldable screen the apps are set up to work on a dual-screen mode. For instance, while working with Gmail you can view the email list on the left pane and view the mail content on the right. The device also comes with a great multi-tasking option where up to three apps can be worked on simultaneously.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G is a bulky device and weighs 9.9 ounces. Many reviewers rate this latest Samsung offering to be amongst the best foldable phones. The phone is priced steeply and costs more than Motorola Razr and Samsung’s Z Flip 5G.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G National Bank edition will be available in two color variants: mist gold and pine smoke ink. Its pre-sales commences today, and it will have an official release on September 25.
