Epic Games launched Season 4 of Fortnite almost two weeks ago, and so far the feedback has been mostly positive. The new season introduces the best Battle Pass cosmetics along with new challenges which will prompt the user to unlock different cosmetics.

The new places added in the map, Trask Transport Truck, Ant Manor, Panther’s Prowl, and the Collection are all Marvel-themed. The known landmarks are positioned next to a known drop so that the players will always have the option to change their normal routine.

To top it all off, Epic Games has announced the new Fortnite update, v14.10. As is the ‘custom’ before the launch of any major updates, we can expect that a number of leaks will emerge before the update is complete or even launched. The new leaks also announce the latest addition of skins, challenges, and much more.

Epic Games has mentioned that the latest update, Fortnite v14.10 will be larger than the usual updates. Taking that comment into consideration, we can assume that the Fortnite servers will go down for maintenance, and as the update is a huge one, the servers will be down for longer than usual.

However, the servers should be up and running after a couple of hours. The downtime for Fortnite is scheduled for 4 AM ET.

We can expect the new update to fix a number of bugs, such as the ones in Fortnite Season 4, especially regarding the Silver Surfer crash. A lot of users have complained that while using the Silver Surfer, the game automatically crashes. It is likely that Epic Games will fix it in an update and the next one is the v14.10.

So far, Fortnite only had smaller changes on the map, but the update could accelerate bigger changes with the Stark Industries location. There also have been talks of customizing your own hero in the item shop.
