LG launched its new LG K22 model in Brazil in a low-key release today. The company went ahead with the release amidst final preparations for the release of LG Velvet. LG K22 is a basic smartphone and is targeted towards the consumers who fall in the low-income group. Let’s take a look at its features.


LG K22 comes with a 6.2 inch IPS LCD screen, with an HD + resolution and weighs just 169 g. The display features a drop notch which holds the 5 MP front camera. The aspect ratio of the screen is 20: 9. LG has provided a dedicated button for the Google Assistant.

Processor & Storage

It uses the Qualcomm QM215 processor which clocks at 1.3 GHz.

The phone runs on 2 GB of RAM and packs 32 GB internal storage which is expandable by using a MicroSD card.


LG K22 offers a dual rear camera setup. It has a 13 MP primary sensor, and a secondary 2 MP depth sensor. The main camera contains basic features like auto-focus, LED flash, self-timer and auto mode. You can also record videos in Full HD resolution. It also features a 5 MP selfie camera.


The LG K22 phone runs on a decent 3,000 mAh battery.


LG K22 comes with FM radio which retains popularity among people, especially low-income groups. It can act as a source of information and entertainment. The phone offers Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. LG K22 has the Android 10 OS which runs under LG’s custom Android skin.

LG K22 is available in the primary Brazilian retailers in the color Titan. It is priced at R$ 899 Brazilian Real.
