Amidst the hubbub that Apple’s launch event is making, especially surrounding the launch of the upcoming iPhone 12, another smartphone manufacturer is ready to make its audiences awestruck. Mukul Sharma, who is famous for unveiling smartphones ahead of their launch, recently in a tweet mentioned that OnePlus is coming out with OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Visible models.
Although the two smartphones carry different names, the fact that the specs of both of these are the same may mean that the OnePlus 8 Visible is the Visible carrier version of the original OnePlus 8 model.
The OnePlus 8 model features Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, and the back of the smartphone houses a triple camera of 48 MP. Furthermore, it features a 90 Hz Fluid Display screen. In India, the smartphone is available in three color options – Glaciar Green, Onyx Black, and Interstellar Glow. It comes in two memory variants – one having 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, and the other with 12GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.
OnePlus was supposed to come out with a new model from the OnePlus 8 series, the fabled OnePlus 8T, and for the past several weeks, some of its specs along with a few patents had also made its way online. Although the launch of the OnePlus 8T is inching closer, the company launched a detailed specification of the OnePlus 8 and the OnePlus 8 Visible version.
As per the Sharma’s tweet, the OnePlus 8 Visible runs on Qualcomm 865 and features a screen of 1080 x 2400 pixels. These features are common with the ones seen in the normal version of the OnePlus 8 model. Apart from being a carrier for smartphones, like Verizon, the OnePlus 8 is also available on Visible’s official website, and the smartphone ordered from its website will also include the SIM card.
The one available on the website features 128GB of internal storage, and comes only in Onyx Black color; the pricing starts at $672.
