As the Google Assistant Developer Day inches closer, there have been rumors surrounding what the tech giant will introduce in the event. Almost all of the community of the netizens are looking forward to the event, as Google introduces not only new devices but also brings out concepts that are to be materialized in the future.

Amidst all the rumors, two of them have turned out to be true. Google will indeed introduce two new devices: Google interactive video streaming device and Google Home Hub at the event.

Although none of the devices mentioned here would be introduced for the first time by Google, it is expected that both the devices are likely to be incorporated with new features, to improve upon the already existing technology. Recently in a tweet, Mukul Sharma has revealed that both the devices from Google, the interactive streaming device and the Google Hub have passed the Bluetooth SIG certification.

The fact that both the devices passed the certification process means that the company will soon launch the devices with added new features.

The “interactive streaming device” sounds like any gadget with a screen and wireless connectivity. Since the certification website did not have any pictures of the upcoming devices, not much, in terms of specs, is known about them.

However, the details mention that both devices will have audio and visual qualities. Under the design description, it simply states, “Hands-Free Profile subsystem for interactive video streaming devices.” The Google Home Hub is compatible with more than 5000 smart devices, ranging from cameras to smartphones. Over the years, it has been a strong competitor to only Amazon’s Alexa when it comes to the smart assistant.

Now several years after the introduction of the Google Home Hub, it is only expected that it will come with better qualities and specifications. Since no other information is available on this, we have to wait for the Google event that is scheduled to take place on October 8, followed by the DevFest from October 16 through to October 19, 2020.
