Lenovo YOGA in its official Weibo (Chinese microblogging site) account has teased the release of YOGA 27, a new all-in-one product.
The Chinese MNC stated that the arrival of YOGA 27 would bring about a revolutionary change in the usage of personal computers in China. Lenovo looked back to its past when 28 years before the United idea “1+1” had introduced personal computers into millions of Chinese families.
This had resulted in a boom in the development of personal computers in China. And now Lenovo YOGA 27 is coming soon to lead the way into a new age of personal computers.
Lenovo had brought in the concept of home computers in the year 1992 and the Chinese market was flooded with Lenovo’s “1+1” personal computers then.
Now it seems like Lenovo is planning to bring a large-screened all-in-one device to repopularize the personal computer in China. Lenovo YOGA 27 looks most likely to be that device.
Compared to a traditional desktop, the all-in-one machine is more compact as it fits the processing unit and monitors together. The remaining external devices like the mouse and keyboard are wireless. This helps in saving space and keeping things tidy.
Lenovo YOGA 27 is termed so because of its 27-inch screen. The all-in-one device is expected to come with AMD’s desktop Ryzen APU which will also house an 8-core CPU.
The APU will have the CPU and GPU integrated. Lenovo has also mentioned that YOGA 27 may feature the VEGA core display. The full specifications of the device are not known yet. Lenovo also hasn’t mentioned anything about the pricing or the release date.
