Odyssey G7 T1 Faker Edition gaming monitor by Samsung launched in S.Korea

Today, Samsung has unveiled the news of launching a special edition version of the Odyssey G7 which is modeled on T1’s star League of Legends player Faker, a legendary league of Legend players, originally known a Lee Sang- Hyeok. Earlier this year at CES 2020, Samsung introduced its Odyssey series of gaming monitors. The series consisted of gorgeous lineups including the Odyssey G7 and the Odyssey G9. The features they are comprised of curved QLED VA display, 1ms GTG response time, G-Sync, a 240Hz refresh rate, and HDR.

The special edition gaming monitor of the Odyssey G7 T1 has been crafted by a South Korean firm in collaboration with SK Telecom’s escape organization T1 and is available in red and dark silver, the signature color of the Faker. The lower corner bezel and the stand also have Faker’s signature and a partnership logo of Samsung and T1. Samsung is expecting to leave a signatory remark in the field of gaming monitor with this partnership that occurred 4 months ago.

The gadget is available in two price ranges depending on the size of the monitor. The 27-inch version of the Odyssey G7 T1 Faker Edition will cost KRW 870,000 (around $747) while the 32-inch version will come at KRW 1 million (around $859) in South Korea. Although two combinations are available, both the versions use

  • 1000R curved screens with VA QLED panels
  • a 240Hz refresh rate
  • 1ms GTG response time
  • QHD resolution
  • DisplayHDR 600
  • ‘Core’ lighting features
  • Cable management features

Four months ago, the gadget was first introduced in Samsung’s home market. Both the monitors are capable of suiting themselves with AMD FreeSync 2 as well as Nvidia G-Sync.
