Today marks the release of the much-awaited, back-to-back two Smart TV models as the Mi TV Master and Mi TV master Extreme editions on the Xiaomi official site. Both of which come all together at a size of 82 inches. While the first one features 4K quality, the later model on the other hand is a step ahead, offering us a full power 8K quality.
Mi TV Master:
Available at a price of 9,999 Yuan, this version is described as “high-end 4K giant screen machine king” and offers the following features:
- a resolution of up to 4320×2160,
- a viewing angle of 178°,
- a DCI-P3 93% wide color gamut coverage,

- a 10-bit panel, and 1.07 billion colors.
With 4096 levels of light and shade changes, the sharp shadow light control technologies control the light for ever-changing levels and the tiny little details are never missed out on the screen.
We witness full support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10, and HLG in Mi TV Master, also aided by an independent APU neural network computing unit which enables to analyze, recognize, and tune the picture-AI dynamic scene recognition. This validates screen synchronization, frame by frame where five scenes might appear.
Another feature seen here is the AI sound quality enhancement assistance, which further helps to recognize the screen from the current playing content, to detect that sound mode and give it a proper amplification required, and suitable for that field of content.
Mi TV Master also offers an AI learning system, boarded by MIUI chip, that allows providing in-depth insight into the viewing habits of a different user. In fact, there is an automatic loading mode that rings all the suitable content based on user choice to pile up on the front content page. This makes the arrangement easier and more simplified for the user to not undergo a time-consuming searching and filtering of genres or cinematic content.
Although we find two editions under the Mi TV Master flagship, it is necessary to bear in mind that there hardly remain much difference apart from the resolution and quality. The basics, otherwise follow a similar pattern.
