Today, Microsoft has announced its new development with the incorporation of two major implementations, namely:
- Roadmap Application Tool
Meant for easy tracking, managing, and collaboration on team projects, the tools will further help bring forth innovations in new projects or roadmaps.
Mainly built as a project managing tool, it supports any project type or project requirement. Further, it helps to collaborate with other users on the project irrespective of where the other user is or what device is being used.
Functions of this Project tool include:
- Tackling both small or large projects
- Handling any skill level or project type
- Automated scheduling engine to set effort, duration, and resources from inside Teams.
This application tool provides ‘a visual and interactive way’ to connect and do visible multiple projects simultaneously and show their status across the organization. It represents a cross-functional and a bigger picture of the work from Microsoft Project and Azure Boards.
The official announcement by Microsoft mentions that both these tools will be available to all Office 365 users. In fact, those with Project for the Web licenses will be able to create and edit projects with the help of both these application tools and share it within Microsoft Teams.
