Lenovo launched a new Slim 7 series of laptops globally and given its specs, and performance, topped with its slim frame and portability, it proved to be an instant hit with the consumers.
After the global launch, the laptop company has officially announced the Savior Y9000X 2021 and the R9000X 2021 notebooks are soon to be launched in China. Although these notebooks are the same Legion Slim 7 series available globally, Lenovo is using a new mold for the notebooks that are to be launched in China.
Lenovo’s official news has not mentioned the release date. Lenovo’s official announcement of the Y9000X 2021 and the R9000X 2021 notebooks list the screen parameters for both the notebooks along with a few of its major features; however, the specs should not come as a surprise to all since these notebooks are already available elsewhere under different names.
Both the notebooks from Lenovo come equipped with a 15.6-inch 1080p screen, 8bit native color depth, 100% sRGB high color gamut, along with a refresh rate of 144Hz, 5ms response time. Moreover, the notebooks support Dolby Vision’s high dynamic display.
The variant from Lenovo that is available globally under the name of Legion Slim 7i comes with a 15.6-inch of the screen with an optional 144Hz FHD or 60Hz 4K screen.
In terms of configuration, the Legion Slim 7i supports up to i9-10980HK, the graphics card could be the RTX Max-Q, Corsair iCUE RGB keyboard, and fingerprint sensor.
The inclusion of the fingerprint sensor has made the consumers regard the notebooks from the Legion Slim 7i in high regard. The Legion Slim 7 is available with R9 4900H, R7 4800H, and R5 4600H processors, graphics cards can be RTX 2060 Max-Q, GTX 1660 Ti Max-Q and GTX 1650 Ti, up to 32GB DDR4-3200 memory, and 2TB SSD. The price of the Chinese market variant is yet to be announced.
