A recent report confirms that despite the Android 11 update that was found in OnePlus 8, right after the degradation to Android 11 based OxygenOS 11 in Google Pixel devices within a week, the T-Mobile OnePlus 8 has still not succeeded in incorporating the Android 11 version due to its current status of undergoing a security patch testing.
OnePlus has always been acknowledged for considering and prioritizing customer feedback and promoting a better user experience. Its power delivery with recent updates has upgraded its demand amongst the customers recently.
Today OnePlus stands out to be one of those unique OEMs that had implemented the Android 11 software system, way before other premium smartphone brands that were reigning in the technology industry for so long.
In fact, Google had developed and started rolling an Android 11 tracker device, which endeavored in ensuring the developers build apps that could be set compatible to the Android 11 version, followed by the release of three other developer preview builds.
Although OnePlus has succeeded in this compatibility attempt, the T-mobile version of OnePlus is yet to implement this update for the latest OnePlus 8 device. Due to its security patch testing, the update seems to be delayed, which further confirms that the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro users will not be able to meet the Android 11 update system yet.
As per the Android 11 update device tracker suit, the devices that will be able to incorporate this new system include OnePlus, Xiaomi, Oppo, and Realme.
