Xiaomi has been teasing its latest offering from the range of Xiaomi smart TVs in India. The Chinese company has also been pretty tight-lipped about the upcoming smart TV, the new Mi QLED 4K TV. The new smart TV has been launched in India through an event that the company live-streamed at 12 PM.
Undoubtedly, Xiaomi has one of the biggest markets here in India, not only because of the affordability of its products but also because of the performance of the Xiaomi products, ranging from smartphones to gadgets designed for smart homes. The company has agreed that since Xiaomi introduced its smart TVs in India back in 2018, their TV market has grown exponentially over the years. The company has shipped over 5 million TVs in India. Keeping in mind, the latest ‘Make in India’ initiative, the company says that all Mi QLED TVs will be made in India.
As for its features, the new Mi QLED 4K TV features a 55-inch display that offers a 96 percent screen-to-body ratio. It also features the proprietary Vivid Picture Engine and Reality Flow.
Reality Flow is a feature we could also see in the Mi TV 4X launched in China in late 2019. Xiaomi also claimed that the audio system of the new TV is 230 percent better than that of other smart TVs available in the market. Furthermore, the Mi QLED 4K TV runs PatchWall UI. Xiaomi has added two new partners in the PatchWall, Discovery+ and LionsGate Play. Additionally, the TV also features a new User Centre on PatchWall UI. It is powered by a MediaTek 64-bit quad-core A55 CPU and features 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.
The Mi QLED 4K TV is priced at Rs 54,999 and will be available for purchase starting 21 December at 12 pm through Flipkart, mi.com, Mi Home, and other official offline partners of Xiaomi.
