The biggest DC movie of this year that has kept its fans at the edge of their seats is almost here. Warner Brothers had announced that the next part of the Wonder Woman movie, titled Wonder Woman 1984, will come to the theatres and on HBO Max this Christmas.

The teaser, followed by the trailer for the same film, drove DC fans worldwide into a frenzy. The trailer fed the fans everything they were expecting from a movie of this stature and more.

Although the details of the movie’s main plot could not be deciphered from the trailer, as is the case with any trailers, it does re-introduce the fans to one of the main elements of the movie, Steve Trevor, Diana’s long-deceased boyfriend, played by Chris Pine.

An almost 4-minutes’ long video of the opening scene of the movie is out. The one thing that has to be said about the new video is that it sheds the trope of dark visuals that the DC movies have been known for. It is as bright as a sunny day in accordance with the ethereal place of the Amazons, Paradise Island.

Now coming to what we see in the video itself, it opens with a monologue delivered by Diana Prince, who recounts the story of her childhood, and a young Diana is seen galloping through a forest and leaping over streams.

The Amazons have gathered in a stadium for a match of some sort, and the scene depicts beautifully the physical strength of the Amazons busy in performing various tasks. Young Diana is about to take part in the competition along with her team of seasoned Amazon warriors.

The visual narrative is now interspersed with the grown-up Diana or the Wonder Woman as we know her, basically beating up the bad guys.
