After months of speculation, the Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro has finally made its way to the FCC certification website. It may indicate that the launch of the upcoming offering from Poco is sooner than expected.

On the certification website the description list for the product only lists generic features, available on any smartphones, and as such, no official statement regarding the features of the smartphone is available. However, in a tweet, the famous leakster Abhishek Yadav did reveal that the smartphone will run on the MIUI 12.

The Poco X3 Pro is certainly the upgraded model of the previously launched Poco X3 which was launched in September 2020. The X3 model in itself was different from the other Poco smartphones in that the X3 smartphone adopted a new fresh design, instead of adopting the usual design from the Redmi smartphones. The upcoming Pro version of the same could be expected to be almost the same design-wise.

Poco X3 also used the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC with a 6,000 mAh battery. All of these whopping features just under the price of Rs. 16,999. Now that Poco is gearing up to launch a new Pro version, we may expect upgrades also in terms of its SoC, and battery capacity. Although it has not yet been officially announced, the price of the Pro variant too will increase significantly as compared to the X3 version.

It also boasts of the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC which is an upgrade over the Snapdragon 730G that powers the Poco X2. On top of that, you get a big 6,000mAh battery, and all this for a starting price of Rs. 16,999.

A previous leak had mentioned that the Poco X3 Pro model will feature the Sony IMX682 rear camera along with a 64 MP sensor, and another 20MP front camera. The leak had also mentioned that the smartphone could also feature 8GB of RAM with 256GB of internal storage. There is no way to confirm if Poco will indeed employ the above-mentioned features for the upcoming Poco X3 Pro variant.

Hopefully, Poco will release information about the launch date, price and specs of the smartphone.
