POCO M3 has performed well as an all-rounder smartphone globally. Now, Xiaomi has finally managed to launch POCO M3 in India.
Starting at just INR 10,999, M3 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 besides having the triple rear camera setup. The smartphone will start selling on Tuesday, February 9 on Flipkart.
POCO M3 features and specifications
POCO M3 is the successor of the POCO M2, which came into the picture in Sept ember 2020. Poco M3 has a 6.53″ FHD+ dot drop display along with a 2340 x 1080 screen resolution. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla glass and supports Color temperature adjustment, Standard mode, Reading mode, and Sunlight mode.
The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 Octa-core processor and comes in two different storage variant- 6GB + 128GB and 6GB + 64GB. POCO M3 also has a 6000 mAh battery and comes with a type C 22.5W fast charger. POCO M3 runs on MIUI 12, which is based on Android 10.
As for the camera, POCO M3 has a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48MP main camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. The rear camera also supports Document mode, Night mode, AI scene detection, Google Lens, AI Beautify, Portrait mode, Movie frame Portrait mode background blur adjustment, Panorama, and Raw mode.
The smartphone has also got an 8 MP front camera with different features including a Timed selfie, Movie frame, AI Beautify, Filters, Palm Shutter, AI portrait mode, and Panorama selfie.
Other connectivity for POCO M3 includes 2.4 GHz WI-Fi/ 5 GHz WI-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and sensors like Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, Electronic compass, Vibration motor, IR Blaster, etc. are also added. The smartphone also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and AI Face unlock as a security option.
Price and availability
POCO M3 is available in three color options- POCO Yellow, Cool Blue, and Power Black. It has also got two variants in terms of storage- 6GB + 128GB and 6GB + 64GB. The 4GB + 128GB has a price of INR 11,999 while the 6GB + 64GB will have a retail price of INR 10,999.
Both of them will be available through Flipkart starting at 12 pm (noon) from February 9 onwards. Additionally, people who aim to purchase Poco M3 through an ICICI Bank card or EMI transactions, will receive an INR 1,000 instant discount.
