Almost two months back, PUBG entered its 10th Season, and now already the season is almost coming to an end.

As per the official Tweet, the 10th season introduced a new map called Haven and improved known as the Pillar Tactical. The showdown with Pillar on Haven is coming to an end now.

The Haven map included several features that had not been seen before in previous PUBG maps, including an enemy AI faction, an antagonistic helicopter roaming the skies, a deadly armored truck, heavily guarded supply caches, and a smaller size designed for 32 players each match.

However, the inclusion of the new feature does not take away the fact that Haven is the smallest map by 1 km. Haven is basically an industrial city that comes with its own sets of factories, tall buildings, and a residential district.

The map takes place just as the sun goes down and the city is haunted by the Pillar that hunts the players. The Pillar Tactical is also called the kill truck colloquially. It is a huge armored truck that patrols the streets and it cannot be killed.

It has one of the most menacing presence on the game as it is accompanied by a helicopter that instantly flags the position of a player, making them vulnerable to enemy players. It also signals a deadly tactical truck to hunt down the spotted players.

The new feature has received mixed reviews from fans. However, PUBG’s creative director Dave Curd has called the truck a “punishing, Terminator-like presence”.

However, since Haven is also a densely populated town, there are plenty of places where the players can evade the kill truck, even after it starts throwing Molotov cocktails at the players.

The kill truck definitely kept the players on their toes and gave the new map an eerie feel. The ending of the Pillar Tactical could also point to the end of season 10 of the game.
