Xiaomi India is gearing up for a new event. As per Xiaomi’s latest tweet, the upcoming event – The Mi SOUND UNVEIL – will focus mainly on sound systems.

It should be mentioned that the tweet does not disclose any information about the event, as in what kind of products to expect from the Chinese tech giant. However, there have been a few attempts at guessing what Xiaomi’s following product will be.

The new product that is yet to be announced or introduced could be a Bluetooth speaker. Xiaomi wireless speakers are held in high regard in the market.

This perhaps has to do with the fact that the smart wireless speakers from Xiaomi are packed with features while at the same time being lighter on the pockets. Xiaomi has a wide variety of portable speakers, and the upcoming mysterious product might also expand that category.

It would be interesting to note here that one other product from Xiaomi had received notable attention, but the product was not launched outside of the Chinese markets- The Mi Air 2 Pro.

Last year in October, a few sources claimed that the Mi Air 2 Pro would soon be launched in the market, but Xiaomi, for some reason, had failed to do so. With the new Sound Event coming up, this could also be that the Mi Air 2 Pro will finally get launched in India.

The Mi Air 2 Pro ditches the round-in-ear design and comes with a short stem, much like the AirPods. The Mi Air 2 Pro will have a 12 mm driver, and the battery could offer up to 28 hours of service with Active Noise Cancellation off and up to 20 hours of service with ANC turned on.

The case in which the earphones come is supposed to have some sort of wireless charging function. As there has been no official confirmation of this, this is just a speculation. It is expected that Xiaomi India will reveal more in the upcoming days.
