Recently, it became known that Realme will launch a new variant of its upcoming smartphone, the Realme GT-M. Apparently, the M in the name stands for Mercedes. That is to say, it will be a Mercedes variant of the same smartphone.

As per the photos that surfaced online, the rear end of the smartphone will sport a Mercedes-Benz logo alongside the Realme logo, and the back of the phone comes with a striking yellow color.

Interestingly, a few days back, details about the Realme GT smartphone came to the front. Although the Mercedes variant will be a variant of the core Realme GT smartphone, in terms of specs, a lot of similarities could be found, hopefully.

Geekbench listing reveals that the smartphone will come with 12GB of RAM and it will run on Android 11. The smartphone is supposed to run on an octa-core SoC with a base clock speed of 1.8GHz.

We should keep in mind the listing does not show the exact name of the SoC. Apart from the specifications, Geekbench has the phone listed with a single-core score of 1,138 and a multi-core score of 3,572.

Last week, the same Realme phone with model number RMX2202 appeared on another benchmarking app that revealed that the smartphone would come with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and Snapdragon 888 SoC. It further revealed that the smartphone would come with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

As for its camera settings, Realme has confirmed that the smartphone will feature 64-MP of triple rear camera setup. The smartphone will launch in China on March 4 alongside the Realme GT 5G.

Furthermore, the company is also expected to launch its new Internet of Things devices at the same event. For both the core and its variants, the pricing for the smartphones is yet to be announced.
