OnePlus in a tweet, confirmed that the company would bring three flagship smartphones from the OnePlus 9 series to India on March 23rd. The smartphone series consists of an OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro, and OnePlus 9E.
The first two devices are supposed to be similar; however, the Pro version will feature top-of-the-line specs. On the other hand, the OnePlus 9E could be the OnePlus Nord replacement.
OnePlus 9 Pro
Although OnePlus has not revealed any information regarding the upcoming smartphones’ specifications, several reports have claimed that the OnePlus 9 Pro will sport a 6.7-inches QHD+ LTPO display with a refresh rate clocked at 120Hz.
Under the hood, the smartphone is supposed to run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G SoC; moreover, the smartphone is supposed to come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
In the official tweet, the smartphone giant has confirmed that the upcoming smartphones’ rear cameras will bear Hasselblad branding. The OnePlus 9 Pro is likely to feature a 48MP Sony IMX789 primary sensor, a 50MP Sony IMX766 ultra-wide, 8MP telephoto lens that offers 3.3x optical zoom, and a 2MP depth sensor.
The smartphone will run on a 4,500mAh battery that supports fast charging at 65W.
The key specs for the OnePlus 9 include a 6.55-inch of FHD+ 120 Hz display, 8GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage. The processor for this smartphone is similar to that of the OnePlus 9 pro, and the same goes for the battery.
Very little is known about the OnePlus 9E. Some reports claim that this smartphone will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 SoC under the hood, and this smartphone will offer 8GB of RAM with 128GB of storage. The pricing for the new smartphone series is yet to be revealed.
OnePlus has also confirmed that an OnePlus smartwatch will be launched alongside the OnePlus 9 series of smartphones.
