Honor announced that the company will launch the V40 Lite Luxury Edition on March 23, and the Honor Tablet 7 on the same day. The tablet will be entry-level and will be categorized as an educational tablet.
Honor has officially confirmed that the Honor Tablet 7 will come with a smart split-screen function. The screen can support up to 4 apps at the same time. The students will have the option to listen to lectures and lessons online while at the same time check other information, take notes: all of these functions can be performed simultaneously, that is one action would not disrupt another. After the pandemic hit, online education has become imperative for students in most parts of the globe. This multi-tasking function will enable students to learn more easily and efficiently.
A piece of previous news had claimed that the Honor Tablet will also support the “Parallel Vision” function, which is Huawei’s first-in app split-screen function. Moreover, it has also become known that the Honor Tablet 7 will run on MediaTek G80 or G85 processor. The tablet will also support a 10W charger. Some tech bloggers contend that the audio and video of the tablet are of good quality, considering that it is an educational tablet. However, the performance of the tablet is not so great as to be enough for large-scale games.
Another Weibo blogger has mentioned that Honor will launch an entry-level tablet that will be equipped with an MT6769 processor, that is either the Helio G80 processor or the G85 processor. furthermore, the tablet is equipped with a Magic UI system based on Android 10.
On the other hand, Honor will also launch the Honor V40 Lite Luxury Edition smartphone on the same day. The smartphone is supposed to come with a MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset and support 65W fast charging.
